Hope to Walk provides low-cost prosthetic legs, training and hope to amputees in developing countries. Hope to Walk was founded in 2015 by Phil Johnson, a certified prosthetist-orthotist, after witnessing the urgent need for affordable prosthetic care in Guatemala. Realizing that traditional U.S. prosthetic solutions were not practical or affordable for developing countries, Phil began to design more accessible solutions. Hope to Walk has expanded Phil's efforts and now equips local communities to help people walk with greater independence and dignity. Guided by compassion and respect for every person, Hope to Walk has helped more than 2,500 amputees across nine countries so far.
